I love......

this new stamp....I added some glittery bling and embossing powders...a freehand "flourish" here and there....and loved the results....:o) Different card for a traditional season...:o)

Christmas decor....

it's all about the "bling"...:o)I remember doing this when I had my floral business for businesses around Boise. I thought we'd never get through decorating banks, restaurants and homes. Bling is always something that makes one feel "festive"...so this weekend...the hub and I decided it was a good time to add bling to our home. Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day and have their trees up! Christmas will be upon us in no time...:o)

Sometimes.....

you meet a person and their warmth encases you....it filter's through your being when you least expect it....you remember a smile...an encasement that lingers and sifts through your being...long after they have left your sight....:o) This woman did just that. She is gem of a person, has a great quick sense of humor and has allowed me the warmth of her personality when we were in Salem, Oregon.
She also lost her mom to breast cancer not to long ago....and every year I do layouts for those that have lost a piece of their heart to such a horrid disease. So to honor Lisa and her Mama....I did a layout for her in remembrance of the spirit that echo's from her mother to her....there it is...shining through...... Love between a Mother and a Daughter...a closeness that only they know of...that they cherish......forever and always....endlessly.

Little Brooks.............

is such a sweet little guy. I love his giggly smile and his soft eyes.
This is a dear friend of ours grandson. Their daughter and son in law live outside of Portland and were blessed with this beautiful little guy Brooks not long ago.
Robyn...he is an absolute doll.....congrats dear one.

Cards....

made from scraps and captured in creams, blacks, greens and khaki. Distressed and stamped and dabbled with silver and gold. Mixed up in shapes and sizes, they come alive with time and easy thoughts.

I LOVE this new product that gives you tiny bits of "petal color." It's called "Flower Soft" and it adds so much texture and dimension to your projects. I highly recommend it to those that have not tried it. The ones I used were spring and summer. (wishful thinking on my part, it's suppose to snow here today or tomorrow...)But it added some color that I could not have gotten any other way.(double click the photo's to see the applications better) I loved the results and really enjoyed using it.
